Trey\u2019s cheeks colored as his rage simmered up to boiling. \u201cI don\u2019t want help. I don\u2019t want to have to need help. I want to be normal.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cWhy the hell won\u2019t you hear that you should have had help?\u201d Vince all but roared at him. \u201cIs it gonna break you in half or something if you admit you got a fucked-up deal, that you had to grow up too soon, that when someone should have been taking care of you, you were taking care of them instead?\u201d Trey didn\u2019t answer, but his nostrils flared, and his pale-blue eyes filled with angry tears. <\/p>\n

Too late Vince realized that yes, admitting it would break Trey in half.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Someone asked when we were getting married, but before either of us could answer, someone else asked where, which started a fiery argument about whether or not it was a crime for the church to deny them a ceremony there and whether or not it was a sin to say the church had committed a crime.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
