\"Clockwork<\/a>This is a rare book: one that I listened to before I read. (Honestly, at the time I was desperate for distraction and wasn’t really able to concentrate on reading.)<\/p>\n

I still enjoyed it, and as it has been two years, managed to forget just enough that there were surprises (“Oh, I forgot that!”)<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you sure you wouldn\u2019t like some nice murderers instead?\u201d he asked plaintively. <\/p>\n

\u201cQuite sure, thanks.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Thieves with cutthroat accounting skills aren\u2019t exactly common.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Of course, those surprises might also have been because I wasn’t really able to concentrate the first go round.<\/p>\n

Regardless, I quite enjoyed it, and liked being able to go back and reread bits that amused me.<\/p>\n
