(Honestly, at the time I was desperate for distraction and wasn&#8217;t really able to concentrate on reading.)<\/p>\n<p>I still enjoyed it, and as it has been two years, managed to forget just enough that there were surprises (&#8220;Oh, I forgot that!&#8221;)<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAre you sure you wouldn\u2019t like some nice murderers instead?\u201d he asked plaintively. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cQuite sure, thanks.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Thieves with cutthroat accounting skills aren\u2019t exactly common.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Of course, those surprises might also have been because I wasn&#8217;t really able to concentrate the first go round.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless, I quite enjoyed it, and liked being able to go back and reread bits that amused me.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cGnole medicine?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cLick it till it feels better.
