What about you, Doris?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Doris looked a little frightened. \u201cI don\u2019t know. I don\u2019t read horror\u2014it gives me nightmares\u2014so I think the medium might be too scary for me. The only place I want to talk to my dead relatives is at the cemetery.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Second, Nora needs to decided if she is going to continue to live with Jack, or move back into her caboose when<\/p>\n<p>Even more importantly, Estella and Jack have decided to get married&#8211;and their baby will be due soon after.<\/p>\n<p>I believe that Sheldon remains my favorite character.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Drink this magical brew and tell us what you think of the display window so far. Charlie\u2019s up front, in the thick of it. He\u2019s in charge of the glitter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nora\u2019s eyes narrowed. \u201cI was told there\u2019d be no glitter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m kidding. We\u2019re using sequins instead. Just a few. Less than a thousand. Probably.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A ding: As much as I love Ben Aaronovitch\u2019s Rivers of London series, it is <strong>NOT<\/strong> about travel.<\/p>\n<p>However, the story gets bonus points for concussion portrayal.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019m going to send some post-concussion care instructions with you. You\u2019ll need to take it easy for the next week\u2014maybe more. Pay attention to your body. If you get dizzy, or your headaches increase in intensity, or you have vision changes, seek medical help right away.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Nora turned on the TV, putting an end to the conversation. She made it through half of the documentary before a pulsing headache forced her to retreat to the softer lighting and total quiet of the bedroom.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Her symptoms had struck without warning. She\u2019d been fine a few minutes ago, and now she couldn\u2019t move.
