The advertisement mentioned that fact.\u201d That is, it had mentioned the lack of laundry service. The possibility of agonising death, although present for one reason or another in a number of rented properties in Khelathra-Ven, was habitually elided from public notices.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Ms. Haas moved her mouth close my ear. \u201cI cannot believe I engaged in connubial activities with this gentleman. But I suppose I was very young.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>As a matter of record, I should add that the words \u201cengaged,\u201d \u201cconnubial,\u201d \u201cactivities,\u201d and \u201cgentleman\u201d were not, in actuality, used by Ms. Haas at this juncture, but I have taken some licence in representing her use of language in order to protect the sensibilities of my readers.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>But mostly, I adore Captain Wyndham.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI have no doubt you think me very foolish.
