I couldn&#8217;t resist.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s my first review, which tells you a tiny bit about the story: <a href=\"https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/486\">https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/486<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The nice thing about eBooks is it&#8217;s easier to mark passages that tickle my fancy. So this review is simply things that made me laugh as I was reading.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>To make a good death is to proceed gracefully into a better body and a better life. The consequences of a bad death are hard to look at. <em>You will not make  a good death<\/em> is a power curse; it makes <em>Fuck you<\/em> sound like a benediction.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>Immediately in front, a small red light swings to and fro at about ten feet above ground. &#8220;Am I seeing what I think I&#8217;m seeing?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They have to use tailights at night. It&#8217;s the law.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m feasting my eyes. That must be the only law in Bangkok that&#8217;s seriously enforced.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We drive around the elephant to turn left into Rama IV.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>This situation. like eberything in life, is a useful conundrum to a practicng Buddhist. To scream and yell will generate more negative karma than has already been generated by the boys. On the other hand, too soft an approach on my part will lead them to continue on their downward path.
