Orville and Meade examined the tree. \u201cLook like teeth marks,\u201d Meade said. \u201cCould be muskrat or beaver.\u201d <\/p>\n

The beavers standing nearby huffed with offended pride. \u201cWe would never!\u201d one declared. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd, anyway, we\u2019ve got tools for that!\u201d another added, lifting a long saw the team had brought along. <\/p>\n
