\"Paladin's<\/a>After finishing The Vampire Gideon\u2019s Suicide Hotline and Halfway House for Orphaned Girls<\/em> I needed something to made my brain feel better, and since after reading Daggerbound<\/em><\/a> I wanted to read more Kingfisher, this seems the perfect choice.<\/p>\n

He and Istvhan had exhausted the weapon possibilities of everything in the room, from the banners to one of the courtier\u2019s hats, which had an entire stuffed egret on it. Even Shane had chimed in on that one. Beartongue eventually told them that if they didn\u2019t stop trying to make her laugh in front of the Motherhood priest, she\u2019d throw them in the stockade. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t have a stockade,\u201d said Stephen. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou will get to build one so that I can throw you in it!\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cWell, that does seem practical.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the Rat\u2019s priests for you,\u201d said Istvhan. \u201cAlways very practical.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cI bet the Motherhood\u2019s got a stockade.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNext time, I am leaving you three at the temple.\u201d <\/p>\n

Shane made a quiet sound of protest. \u201cDon\u2019t lump me in with these two.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cI will excommunicate everyone and no one will get to go the circus.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve got willow tea,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n
