\u201cAre you doing something dangerous?\u201d <\/p>\n

Keith considered this. Was this a dangerous action? Surveying his immediate surroundings of bland modern concrete buildings, a large flagpole rising from a circle of green lawn and the vast expanse of parking lots, he saw no imminent threat so answered: \u201cNo, why would u think that?\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cB\/c you\u2019re you? And you want to talk to Jerry, which… you never do\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cI love you babe,\u201d Keith texted back. <\/p>\n

\u201cOMG you are doing something dangerous\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I\u2019d say when you\u2019re a person who gets in trouble a lot you know your only defense is honesty. Otherwise you get blamed for everything instead of just the stuff you really did.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cThat means you have an excuse to call your secret phone girlfriend. I\u2019m so jealous.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cCome on, she\u2019s not my phone girlfriend.\u201d Keith felt his cheeks warming. \u201cI\u2019ve never even seen Susan. For all I know she\u2019s a pile of old telephones brought to life by a corporate wizard.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
