{"id":2790,"date":"2012-02-12T17:59:17","date_gmt":"2012-02-12T22:59:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/?p=2790"},"modified":"2021-06-03T15:38:22","modified_gmt":"2021-06-03T19:38:22","slug":"bryant-may-off-the-rails","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/klishis.com\/reading\/archives\/2790","title":{"rendered":"Bryant &#038; May Off the Rails"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2izdQqB\">Bryant &#038; May Off the Rails<\/a><\/em> (2010) <a href=\"http:\/\/klishis.com\/Books\/mystery\/fowlerc.php\">Christopher Fowler<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2izdQqB\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/Bryant-and-May-Off-the-Rails.jpg?resize=198%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"198\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8412\" \/><\/a>I have to admit, I put off reading this book for several months, and once I picked it up, put it down several times before I could actually get into the story.<\/p>\n<p>This has absolutely nothing to do with the story, and everything to do with the fact that Grandmom really enjoyed this series, and I won&#8217;t be able to share this one with her.<\/p>\n<p>Bryant and May and the rest of the PCU (Pecuilar Crimes Unit) have been reinstated, if perhaps only temporarily, because to keep the unit going, to have to find Mr. Fox&#8211;the serial killer who murdered one of their own and then escaped custody.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Fox&#8217;s domain is King&#8217;s Cross station, and a death there&#8211;one that seems to have been caused by a push down the stairs&#8211;draws them into the station, and the happenings there.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think I can&#8217;t really talk about my opinion of this book, because mostly I&#8217;m thinking about the things Grandmom would and wouldn&#8217;t have liked.<\/p>\n<p>Published by Bantam Books<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bryant &#038; May Off the Rails (2010) Christopher Fowler I have to admit, I put off reading this book for several months, and once I picked it up, put it down several times before I could actually get into the story.
