I don&#8217;t WANT to read first in a series. I want to read stand-alone books.<\/p>\n<p>Bah humbug.<\/p>\n<p>Lex used to be a good girl, just like her twin Cordy. But then something happened and she&#8217;s now beat up most of the people in the school and lashes out at everyone in her family&#8211;except for Cordy.<\/p>\n<p>With a week left, the principal of her school holds off on expelling her after her parents explain she&#8217;ll be spending the summer with her uncle, in the hopes he can calm her down.<\/p>\n<p>Somehow.<\/p>\n<p>I actually liked the relationship between Lex and Cordy, and how even though Lex couldn&#8217;t explain what was happening to her, she still had her sister as an anchor.<\/p>\n<p>This is a YA book that recognizes that teenagers drink and boink and do other things they shouldn&#8217;t. And are snarky. Can&#8217;t forget the snark.<\/p>\n<p>But there isn&#8217;t any boinking, and it&#8217;s an interesting look at the rage that I believe many teens feel at the world&#8211;sometimes without any discernible reason.<\/p>\n<p>Only strike against this book is that there was almost no resolution.
