Prophecy<\/em> (2000) Elizabeth Haydon<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Prophecy\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The sequel to Rhapsody<\/em>, Prophecy<\/em> continues the story. They are still trying to find the F’Dor who escaped to Sendair. Achmed and Grunthor are continuing to build the Bolg into a nation. Rhapsody meets the dragon Elynsynos, and learns more about Ashe.<\/p>\n

As with the previous books, my favorite characters are still Achmed and Grunthor, and I enjoy their banter with each other and with Rhapsody.<\/p>\n

Also as with the previous books, things were a lot more detailed that I cared for. At 697 pages, it seemed like it could have been shorter–I could have done with a lot less of Rhapsody–and her boinking.<\/p>\n

However, there were several strong points–the story went in several unexpected directions–especially towards the end.<\/p>\n

Although there were parts of the story that I enjoyed, there were other parts that I liked less. It continues the tale, however, and takes the story in an interesting direction. However, overall, as good as the story was, parts of it I simply found uninspiring–hence this uninspired review.
