The Mayfair Affair<\/a><\/em> (2015) Tracy Grant<\/a><\/p>\n

This book takes place three months after The Berkeley Square Affair<\/em>, and although I read it earlier this year, I went back and re-read it after finishing The Berkeley Square Affair<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Although I enjoyed this book the first time I read it, things made much more sense the second time around. So although you CAN read this before The Berkeley Square Affair<\/em>, you’ll get more out of it if you read it after.<\/p>\n

Here are a couple passages that struck me this time through:<\/p>\n

I realized that giving up something I wanted, to spite Father, was just another way of letting him control my life.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Children knew how to make the most of the present. When did one lose the talent?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I do enjoy this series.
