So when I saw there was going to be a comic, I searched because BY GOD I wanted that comic.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/garys.comics\/\">Gary&#8217;s Comics<\/a> came through for me, and I was able to order the series. Of course, since I hate cliffhangers, I had to collect them all (there are five books in this collection) before starting to read. (Also, I got the eBook versions, because&#8230; I have no good reason, really.) So I&#8217;ve been waiting patiently for these, and finally read them. (I still haven&#8217;t been down to Gary&#8217;s to pick up the 5th volume, so that was read as an ebook, which I don&#8217;t enjoy for comics.)<br clear=\"all\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Boyd-Work-Guleed.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Boyd-Work-Guleed.jpg?resize=237%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Boyd-Work-Guleed\" width=\"237\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5547\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Boyd-Work-Guleed.jpg?w=759&amp;ssl=1 759w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Boyd-Work-Guleed.jpg?resize=237%2C300&amp;ssl=1 237w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 237px) 100vw, 237px\" \/><\/a>This story is set between Broken Homes and Foxglove Summer, and finds Peter working with DC Sahra Guleed to investigate killer cars. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve always liked DC Guleed, and I&#8217;m delighted we get to spend more time with her.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Nightingale wants me to be more discreet.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Discreet? You blew up a tower block!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;That wasn&#8217;t my fault.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Covent Garden burns down?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sshhh.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As you can tell, the dialogue is typical Peter, which I adore.<br clear=\"all\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/body-work-molly.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/body-work-molly.jpg?resize=198%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"body-work-molly\" width=\"198\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5548\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/body-work-molly.jpg?w=640&amp;ssl=1 640w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/body-work-molly.jpg?resize=198%2C300&amp;ssl=1 198w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 198px) 100vw, 198px\" \/><\/a>Of course we also get Beverly Brook, but even better, we get to see Molly outside of Peter&#8217;s view of her.<br clear=\"all\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Rivers-of-London-Toby.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Rivers-of-London-Toby.jpg?resize=286%2C300&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Rivers-of-London-Toby\" width=\"286\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5549\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Rivers-of-London-Toby.jpg?w=529&amp;ssl=1 529w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Rivers-of-London-Toby.jpg?resize=286%2C300&amp;ssl=1 286w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 286px) 100vw, 286px\" \/><\/a>Plus: Toby.<br clear=\"all\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Will you enjoy this if you haven&#8217;t read the Rivers of London series? I honestly can&#8217;t tell you. I love this series so much, I can&#8217;t look at it separate from my adoration.
