<\/a>Jane has returned to New Orleans–she has no other home right now, and nowhere else to go after the events of the last book. So she’s working for Leo, and heading out to collect blood samples from sick vamps–someone has created a vampire illness and is using it to take over cities formerly loyal to Leo.<\/p>\n

A lot happens in this book, so I was glad for the slower pace of the audio book so I could catch details I zipped through when reading.<\/p>\n

I still very much like the narrator, and like hearing the unfamiliar words pronounced.
