It felt like there was a lot going on that I missed&#8211;even with the annoying backstory bits.<\/p>\n<p><br clear=\"all\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/thor-and-group-1-e1510878471394.jpg?resize=648%2C1024&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Might Thor\" width=\"648\" height=\"1024\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8801\" \/><\/p>\n<p><br clear=\"all\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So there were some things that I really liked&#8211;such as Freyja getting pissed off at Odin for being an ass, and generally being pretty awesome.<\/p>\n<p>However, those bits were offset by things like this:<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/thor-2-a.jpg?resize=860%2C484&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Might Thor\" width=\"860\" height=\"484\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8802\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/thor-2-a.jpg?w=860&amp;ssl=1 860w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/thor-2-a.jpg?resize=300%2C169&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/klishis.com\/reading\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/thor-2-a.jpg?resize=768%2C432&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 860px) 100vw, 860px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><br clear=\"all\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Really? In the middle of a battle we dedicate a third of a page to saying Thor is hot? That&#8217;s&#8230; silly.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s like they had to stick that in there just to offset all the &#8220;girly stuff&#8221; or something.<\/p>\n<p>And the second half of the book&#8211;after the big reveal as to who The Goddess of Thunder is when she&#8217;s at home, I just&#8230; wasn&#8217;t at all interested in most of it&#8211;although I did like the bit where Thor&#8217;s granddaughters try to cheer him up by recreating &#8220;earth&#8221; animals. <\/p>\n<p>So, this was&#8230; fine.<\/p>\n<p>Published by Marvel<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rating: 7\/10<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thor Vol. 2: Who Holds the Hammer?
