I’m Carrot Ironfounderson.
So, what’s the point? Is this some kind of modern movie/cartoon I’ve never heard of? Who are these characters?

They’re character’s from Terry Pratchett’s Discworld.
It’s probably one of the best comedic fantasy series going right now. He’s been writing Discworld books since 1985, and although there is an occasional miss (IMO) most books he writes now are just as good as the earlier (some better actually, since “The Color of Magic” is not one of my favorites.)
And the librarian is one of my favorite characters. Occasionally my husband or I will say “ook” (like when lifting something heavy) and the other will yell, “You’re not a librarian!”
I did warn you we were terrible geeks, didn’t I?
