Disapproving Kitty
A year ago we inherited two cats. The older of the two, Shadow, is cranky had has no qualms about letting you know it.
After one particularly amusing picture, I started taking pictures of Disapproving Shadow Kitty.
There are many; here are some of the “best”.

I would like to pet her. She looks very soft, sweet, and vaguely angry.

She is often more than vaguely angry. But she’s been less so in recent months. And now it’s mostly directed to Orange Cat (Tania’s friend) who keeps wanting to roughhouse.
She’s also gotten better about chomping/swatting when she wants something to STOP RIGHT NOW. I mean, she will still lash out when she is DONE being groomed, but since she was outdoors for 13 years, this doesn’t seem abnormal.
Yesterday at her vet’s visit she vet tech was cooing over her and said she was an absolute angel. I wouldn’t go that far, but she’s mellowed in the past year.
And she is soft and floofy.
And she purrs really REALLY loudly. The vet said he had a very hard time checking her heart and lungs over her purring.
