Nuts
Thirty-five cookbooks and not a single recipe for nut rolls. Do they have some other name that I don’t know? Is there something blindingly obvious that I’m missing?
I love nut rolls, but have never made them before. I’ve got nuts in the freezer, so all I need is a recipe.
Grrr…

One might be able to help, if one knew what a nut roll was. Is it a pastry? A cookie? All I can envision is something like Stuckey’s Pecan Log Rolls, but I can’t imagine that’s what you intend. I do have a few cookbooks…

I suppose they do have another name.
They’re a pastry like crust (I’m thinking cream cheese may be part, since it reminds me a bit of rugelach) wrapped around yummy nut filling. Minced nuts and something else that holds the nut filling togehter.
They’re usually bite sized (or a couple of bites if you’re dainty)
And I have noticed that you have one or two cookbooks lying around your place. :)
