The Rare Football Posting
At my brother’s insistence, here is some interesting news to read.
Mount Healthy High School’s head football coach and athletic director said Tuesday they did not support an officiating crew’s decision to keep Bobby Martin, a senior at Dayton’s Colonel White High School who has no legs, from playing in last Friday night’s game.
I personally can’t understand why officials would keep him from playing, but there’s a lot I don’t understand in this world.
However it’s also a happy story, since he got a letter from the powers that be that allows him to play.
Heck, at 110 pounds he only weighs 10 pounds less that the center for my high school football team my senior year.
There’s also a very nice article on him and a bit about his everyday life.
And a third article in USA Today on his football career.
