What could it be?!

Oh, well, it seems to be going away, so I guess we’re safe for now.

Meanwhile, I took advantage of the break in the rain to get some flower pr0n.

My bearded irises are starting to bloom. This is the first batch. It looks like the ones at the bottom of the yard will bloom later next week.

And the broom. I’m a little frustrated because I haven’t been able to get a decent pictures of it yet this year. But as it’s just started to bloom, I should have plenty more time to get a good picture.

My chives are blooming. I think I’m going to have to thin them this year, or they may start to take over the herb garden.

Fronds from the Japanese Painted Fern. I think they’re actually a little creepy looking, but fascinating never the less.
