Sunday Flower Pr0n

Not much new is happening in the garden. I’ve never managed to overwinter mums, so I don’t have too many fall flowers. Though chances are I’ll end up buying some mums (again) and planting them in any blank spots (which are getting harder and harder to come by.

Sunflower (with hot bee action!)

The sunflowers are still blooming. This one had one of the largest bees I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately the sunflowers are in a breezy spot, so it’s hard to get a good picture.

Zebra Grass

The Zebra grass at the bottom of the yard. I don’t think it gets enough light. but that’s okay. It’s still interesting looking.

Liriope

Liliope in the shade garden beside the driveway. I decided to plant a shade garden under the sugar maple, since I’ve had a hard time getting grass to grow there. However, after we took down the pusswillow tree last year, it’s more sunny and the grass is now doing better.

Stupid grass.
