Yeah, there are a couple purchased annuals in here, but I have a lot of flowers blooming already. (I cannot take a good picture of the lilac, but it’s blooming so heavily you can smell it all the way up on the porch.)

Stella D’Oro day lilies. I cannot believe they are blooming already!

Broom. We had a large broom plant at the back of the house, but the ground became too wet after we put in the parking space, and it finally died last year. This is a new broom I picked up last season–same color as the other, so I can’t wait until I gets larger.

At some point I have to stop being lazy and actually look up the names of the different kinds of ground cover I’ve planted.

However, that point is not right now.

Ferns are actually really creepy looking in the spring.

Columbine. I moved this last year, so it’s doing much better in its new location.
