Apparently there is just no pleasing me today.
I was in a bit of a reading slump so I decided to turn to comics. But I have so many comics I need to read I didn’t pick up what I really wanted, which was a reread of Check, Please!
The Princess and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich worked for me, but Goldie Vance didn’t, and neither did this.
To be clear, there was nothing wrong with it.
I liked the characters!
I liked the plot!
I even liked the art!
But for some reason it just didn’t draw me in.
So bah humbug to me.
