Female Authors
On more than one occasion, some guy has made the comment that there just aren't many good female authors. To which female readers rise up and go, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" The most egregious was the guy who said the lack of female representation in SFF movies was because there weren't very many good female SFF authors.
So I decided to go through my author list and compile the female authors I have read/reviewed. The list is alphabetical by first name, no organization by genre or anything else, because I think that in this way you can see more easily the number of authors who write under their initials, possibly to hide (at least superficially) their gender from readers.
Each name is linked to the page I created for that author, which should contain a list of books I've read, plus reviews of those books.
This is a long list, and I created it by taking the complete list of authors whose books I've read/reviewed and removing the male authors. So it's possible I accidentally left a guy in there. If I note a guy, I'll remove him.
