1) Ever been in a relationship lasting over 5 years?
Been married for 9 years and 3 months. So yes. Before that, no way.

2) What was one of your dreams growing up?
To remain a kid.

3) What talent do you wish you had?
Whatever the opposite of clumsy is.

4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
Chocolate milkshake. Make with chocolate ice cream–no chocolate syrup please.

The last book I finished was THUD by Terry Pratchett
The last book I was reading was The Histories by Hesiod (I like boring books before I go to sleep) otherwise I’m reading All the Rage by F Paul Wilson

7) Astrology: Menace to science education or entertainment?
I guess entertainment.

8) Any tattoos and/or piercings? Explain where.
Ear piercings. Three piercings in my left ear, one piercing on my right ear. Used to have the cartilage of my left ear pierced, but it kept getting infected so after about seven years I let it grow out.

9) Worst habit?
I have OCD. Take your pick.

10) Best attribute?
My empathy.

11) What are your favorite hobbies?
Reading.
Gardening.

Baking.
Reading

12) Do you have a negative or optimistic attitude?
Surprisingly optimistic.

13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
Talk your ear off while pacing, because I am incapable of remaining still.

14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
The ages 16 to 23.

15) Best thing to ever happen to you?
Meeting my husband.

16) Tell me one weird fact about you.
I rarely like to eat cake. I like to bake it, but don’t like to eat it.

17) What if I showed up at your house unexpectedly?
I’d bake you something. Most likely with chocolate.

18) What was your first impression of me?
Bad ass–but not as mean as you come across.

19) What scares you?
Nursing homes.

20) If you could change one thing about how you are, what would it be?
Nothing. My goal is to accept myself the way I am, so there you go.

21) Would you be my crime partner or my conscience?
Conscience. I’m disturbingly honest.

22) What color eyes do you have?
Green.

23) Ever been arrested? If so, what for?
No. But we came very close one night.

24) Favorite dessert?
Molten lava chocolate cakes with fresh whipped cream if I’m going to be fancy. Homemade bittersweet brownies with Breyer’s vanilla ice cream if I want something easy.

25) If you won $1000 today, what would you do with it?
Put it in my savings account–we need to re-side the house and get my grandmother’s bathroom remodeled. Can I win that $1000 a couple more times?

26) Tell me something you want me to know about you.
I’m very energetic and loud. You have been warned.

27) What’s your favorite place to hang out?
My sofa, curled up with a book.

28) Do you believe in ghosts? Aliens?
Let’s say I’m agnostic on both subjects.

29) Favorite thing to do in your spare time?
Read, and garden when it’s warm.

30) Do you swear a lot?
Used to. But have to watch myself both at work and around my grandmother. Which puts a damper on my potty mouth.

31) Biggest pet peeve?
Rude people.

32) In one word, how would you describe yourself?
Loud.

33) Do you believe in/appreciate romance?
Do I believe in romance? Like in the way I believe in ghosts? Sure. But I don’t think I’m a romantic person.

34) Most unusual place you’ve had sex?
None of yer business.

35) Do you believe in an afterlife?
I believe I’ll find out eventually.
