This week’s word is honor of Bridge Day: BASE
Had clear skies coming home, so managed to get everything today.
Bird. This was disappointing only because earlier this week I saw about thirty birds hanging out by the PRT tracks.
If it’s raining as hard Thursday as it was Wednesday, I won’t be getting many pictures.
This week’s things to find:
Bird
Hole
Wind
Ring
Flat
Destroyed
How is it Wednesday already?! I think time is playing games with me. And it’s almost certainly some game I hate, which brings us to today’s starter word: Monopoly
I did pretty good this week. I was worried about procrastination, until I pulled into the driveway.
Perfect.
I very much enjoyed the search this week. But then I like finding shapes in things. I find it comforting.
Square(s)
Round (and a secret triangle)

Round AND a square (and some triangles)

OK, y’all keep saying that you enjoy this, but I’m beginning to wonder…
Here are this week’s items. If anyone wants to come up with any future lists or host the hunt, let me know!

So, for last week’s trip, this week’s word is: desert
(it’s not like I’m planning on having a lot of opportunity to use that word again any time soon.)
4) Mountaineer Week beard growing contest begins
West Virginia University’s annual beard growing competition begins with a group shave at noon on Oct. 12 in the Mountainlair.
Mountaineer Mascot Brock Burwell asks participating students to challenge his legendary beard for a $100 prize and year-long bragging rights.
Contest organizers hope to see 75-100 participants in the event, which marks the beginning of Mountaineer Week scheduled for Oct. 28 through Nov. 6.

Note: I will not be participating.
So, I got everything this week, although some of them are–shall we way–pushing it to fit.
Stones. Lots and lots and lots of stones. Though to be honest, I think these are more rocks than stones. Stones–to me–should be more round. Rocks are sharp. This is something completely arbitrary my brain decided.
Grey Transportation. This delighted me when I saw it.
Something else grey. My guess is that this is some kind of solar array. Michael things the tubes are full of water.
Weather. In case it wasn’t obvious, we’re not home, but in Phoenix Arizona where Michael is at a conference. No, the house isn’t empty. My mother-in-law is there.
Frivolity. Hard to get more frivolous than a train driving around a shopping mall I think.
Identity (yeah, this one is pushing it, but I was highly amused by the numbered post in the middle of nowhere.)
I’m still pushing for that nice fall weather. You know, the kind where the air is crisp and the leaves crunch under your feet as you walk.

For some reason, the “Sing HO! For the life of a bear!” keeps running through my mind. So, this week’s word is: Rabbit
And I did really well for this set. Of course, it seems like most of ’em were multi-category in some way or another.
Shadow (This was my favorite picture)
