I can’t believe it! We had a trick-or-treater this year who was NOT the offspring of a friend! That is the first ever since we moved here 9 years ago.

The skies were beautiful when I went to work this morning (why yes, I did head into work late this morning).
Sadly, the portion of Anne‘s vacation that involved hanging out with us has ended, but we had a lot of fun.

One of the things Anne wanted to do while she was here was go to either Falling Water or Kentuck Knob in Pennsylvania. As I’d gone to Falling Water over the summer and wasn’t enamored with it (liked the grounds, but the house didn’t do anything for me), so we went to Kentuck Knob, which was a later Frank Lloyd Wright house (later than Falling Water).
As a structure, I liked Kentuck Knob better. But I can’t say I’d particularly want to live in either house.
These windows were one of the things I did like.
