Friday Cat Blogging
When she doesn’t think we’re going to grab her and put her in the basement, Kit can really relax.

Friday Cat Blogging
Normally Kat is the more photogenic of the two, but this week Kit actually sat still long enough for me to get a couple decent pictures.
Here is his furriness looking out over his domain.
You can almost make out the bird feeder hanging from the porch. It’s one of four feeders we have to keep the cats entertained. No comments please on how filthy my window is.

Friday Cat Blogging
Thursday was the cats yearly trip to the vet.
As I may have mentioned previously, we don’t crate the cats for travel. We put them in harnesses and on leashes, which works out better for everyone involved.
Aside from some incessant yowling, the trip wasn’t too bad. Especially after Kat decided to come up to the front seat and hang out with Michael.
Although she hid under the seat on the way to the vet’s, once we were there she was relatively calm and relaxed.
Even with the two small dogs barking and growling and yipping and snorting. (Oh yes, they snorted. A lot. Very strange dogs.)
Yes, yes he does occasionally like to stick his head out the window like a dog. But if we drive by a pedestrian, he ducks back into the car until it’s safe again.

Friday Cat Blogging
Nothing exciting today.
When Kat sits like that, I like to tell him it makes his butt look big.
He doesn’t seem to care for some reason.
All week, every time Grandmom has gotten out of her chair, Kit has jumped up into it. Kit doesn’t seem to get the idea of not irking the woman who gives her treats.
Then again, it hasn’t changed how often Grandmom does give her treats.

Friday Computer… er… Cat Blogging
Here are some cat pictures combined with pictures of my new netbook, to give you some perspective on the size of the netbook of course. (Why did I get the “Pearl” colored netbook? Because it was $10 cheaper, and I didn’t care enough to spend $10 for black (now if cobalt blue had been a choice…)
Here are Kit and the Netbook. Since Kit’s a relatively small cat (at least compared to Kat) it doesn’t seem all that impressive.
Perhaps this gives a little better perspective?
Or this?
And finally a cat free comparison:
Laptop, netbook, cellphone.

Feline Insanity
Kat is tearing through the house making occasional yowls, because apparently the invisible kitty demons are after him.
Kit is following him around, with body language that says, “What’s wrong? What’s going on? Why are you running around like that? What’s wrong?”
