Learn to Park
For those who have never been here, Morgantown is hilly. Some areas are worse than others, but there are some roads that it is wise to avoid in the winter until streets have been cleared. 8th Street is one of those roads. The following may not give you the full idea of how steep 8th Street is, but it should give you a general idea.
We've recently noticed something about the cars that park on 8th Street, which is that people do not know how to park. Even if you do not come from a hilly area, you should still be familar with the principle of gravity, and so this should make sense to you.
If your brakes were to fail, your car will move in the direction your wheels are turned.
