We arrived in Denver safely yesterday, as did Jeri. Trollopy things were done, and although pictures were taken, I have not yet downloaded any pictures (I’ve got the netbook instead of the laptop, and installed Gimp only yesterday)
Today is the day of relaxation at the spa. Michael will nose in his have his nose in his laptop in the interim.
Addendum the First:
There will not be much posting here, but I have been Twittering, including using TwitPics.
I got company on Sunday! Specifically, neurondoc, her spouse and offspring!
I made pizza, and received assistance in decorating the pizza; then we had oreos for dessert. Mmmm! (Yes, you should be jealous.)
Also, neurondoc’s daughter is apparently part bumblebee, and is very fond of pollen.
My assistant and I made pizza.
Me and neurondoc.
AND I even got LOOT! Yummy chocolate LOOT!
And just for Nathan…
Yup. She got me bacon chocolate! Now I shan’t be eating this as bacon isn’t in my dietary repertoire, but I am very tempted to save it just for Nathan!
The lock of hair lay in the precise center of floor.
Below the neat cut, a blue ribbon tied with a bow held the lock together; the remainder of the lock curled upon itself into a loose circle, the uncut end wisping out.
It was the only thing in the room.
The wooden floors were bare. Even the dust had been swept up and taken away.
He knelt down on the floor and stared at the curl–the only thing remaining of their years together. But as soon as he reached out to touch the ribbon, it all disappeared in a puff of smoke.
