Serious Destruction
Too bad I’m only in the mood for whimsical destruction.

Still only boy ducks–guess the women wanted to get ’em out of their feathers for awhile, and sent ’em out to the watering hole.
INCOMING! (you’ll probably need to see the larger size, but even then it’s not that clear.)
The weather has been lousy every evening when I’ve come home. But at least it wasn’t raining Wed afternoon.
Today’s word is: tulips.
You’re lucky. It was almost “cat vomit.” (pitches Kat into the basement)
I did get out and walk last week. Here are some of the picture I took. (Taken with my point and shoot, which fits nicely in my pocket.)
Sorry about the unannounced disappearance. My grandmother ended up in the hospital, with what was determined to be a flare up of her ulcerative colitis. So I spent four days hanging out in the hospital, and then helping her in her return to home. She’d lost a lot of strength, so she needed a fair amount of help. Luckily, she has a home health aide who is wonderful.
The hardest part of the entire week were her comments about how she was tired of living and didn’t understand why she was still around. After this week, I understand her exhaustion with life, but hearing that still pains me.
So I hope you’ll forgive me my absence, but I’m fully aware this may happen again.
Hey! It’s Wednesday! Looks like I’ve lost track of time. Again.
Today’s word: birdbrain
There were taken along the Mon Rail Trail.
When we got back to the car after walking through the arboretum, we found a pissed off cardinal attacking the passenger side mirror.
