Yeah, I’ve been rereading Discworld books. So today’s word is: OOK

I’m thankful for my niece:

His Furriness.

My brother.
And pie.

And Michael, but all the pictures of Michael taken in the past several days are….lousy (though that’s him in the background up there.)

Today would have been Grandmom’s 94th birthday.

Today I am going to eat apple pie (her favorite) and emulate her, by being kind to everyone, especially when I don’t want to.

I miss you Grandmom.

Saturday we were in Charleston for our niece’s birthday, but since the “kid’s party” was in the early afternoon, we spent time with Michael’s mother, and wandered around a bit beforehand. Michael’s mom lives quite near the Coal River, so we went to the Big Falls area for a bit, and then to the Little Falls area.

Michael: My neck is sore.
Michelle: I’m not surprised.
Michael: Can I blame my mother for this?
Michelle: Sure. You can say your mom is a pain in the neck.
