Rat Queens Volume 3: Demons (2016) Kurtis J. Wiebe, Tamra Bonvillain, Tess Fowler

What? What? How?

Man, that sure went off the rails right quick.

I honestly don’t get what happened here. Last volume was good, this one started out well, then it just went, well, it went all over the place, and half of it didn’t make much sense.

That bit actually made sense in context.

That? Not so much. And there was a good deal of that. Where things jumped without much in the way of a logical explanation, and characters acted in ways that didn’t make a lot of sense. I mean, one expects non-sensical things from Betty, but for Violet to follow blindly along? Not so much.

I did a little looking around online, and it looks like the partnership fell completely apart at some point, and it looks like it took the story with it. However, there’s a new team put together, and they’re pretending that #16 (not in this volume) didn’t happen, and a web comic was put out, so hopefully things will quickly get back to this:
