And we were, in fact, speaking of ducks.

Duckling count seems to be ten.

I have a set on Flick with a LOT more pictures of who she was, and what she meant to us.

In honor of all the ducklings I keep seeing on my walk home, today’s word is: goose

The ducklings are slightly easier to count when their in the water, so snapped a quick picture while they were swimming around.

Eleven. I counted eleven ducklings.

Then I looked over the other side, the drainage field, and saw two geese. And then I noticed things moving around in the grass near the edge of the water.

Even MORE ducklings!

There are only four really visible in this picture, but I saw lots more movement in the grass. Surprising how good their camouflage is.

Chocolate Pecan Chocolate Chip cookies. We’re talking a pound of chocolate here, so they really are that good.

Cashier at Grocery Store, looking at my items on the belt: Oh my goodness, your groceries are organized *perfectly*!
Me: Well, OCD is good for something.
Cashier: I think it’s OCD-lightful!

I grabbed my camera and walked out the front door to take some pictures while we were waiting for our pizza to arrive. It was Friday, it had been a long week, and I was looking forward to relaxing.

Within a few steps, everything changed.

Yup. I lead an exciting life.

I am still not positive as to the exact number of ducklings. I think there may be nine, but I can usually only count seven in most of my pictures.
