Whispers Under Ground, Audio Edition (2012) Ben Aaronovitch narrated by Kobna Holdbrook-Smith
The third book finds Lesley May moved into the Folly, having become the newest apprentice (it’s understood this is allows only because of the damage done to her in the first book).
A body is found in the Underground, and as much as the Murder Team doesn’t want it to be so, it looks like this might be a Folly case.
But this was a murder inquiry, and woe betide any officer who breaks the chain of evidence, for they will be sat down and have what went wrong with the O. J. Simpson murder trial explained to them at great length. With PowerPoint slides.
Seawoll dropped the mangled paper clip back into a little Perspex box, where it served, presumably, as an awful warning to the rest of the stationery.
