April Kyle has run away from home, and although her father has disowned her, her mother still wants to know where she is.

Where she is, is the Combat Zone in Boston, turning tricks.

This is not a favorite, nor is the other book with April Kyle, which I started but am not going to finish.

I like Patricia Utley, but everything in this book is just awfully depressing.
