This has the bones of a good story.

However, the editing was poor enough that paragraphs seemed out of order, and there were continuity errors.

And I am pretty sure the police didn’t have grounds for arrests, which made that part of the story problematic.

Additionally, I didn’t buy the end of the book. Reconciliations are good and important, but sometimes they are not believable.
