I generally like the Hellboy books that are collections of short stories, but for some reason I had a hard time getting into this collection.

It had lots of the things I generally like about Hellboy (like getting into (and losing) a fight with a demonic donkey.

And I liked the idea of Hellboy roving around Mexico as part of a vigilante group.

But for some reason, these stories didn’t peak my interest. Perhaps I’ll try again later.
