I generally don’t listen to a book immediately after I’ve read it, so if I wanted more of Jane Yellowrock’s world, I was going to have to listen to the Soulwood series.

Which was perfectly fine with me.

Khristine Hvam also narrates this series, which is good, since there are characters that occur in both series. Nell has a very different character and feel than Jane, and I was glad that came through clearly.

Also, the Soulwood books are far more like police procedurals, since Nell goes to work for PsyLED, which is also a very interesting difference.
