Although Mercy and Adam are supposed to be on their Honeymoon, unexpected gifts from the fae lead to (when dealing with fae anyway) the expected consequences, of danger and threat.

But more importantly, we learn more about Mercy’s father, and finally meet Coyote (THE Coyote).

Figures that are both tricksters and are likable can be tricky. If the Trickster figure is TOO nice, then they aren’t really a trickster, but if they can also cross the line into being complete assholes.
