“Doctor Brown,” she corrected.
“Oh, that’s right, you do have some sort of degree in, what is it, music?”
“A Ph.D. From Yale.”
“You must forgive me, Doctor Brown. I believe I mentioned before I don’t pay much attention to music. Too busy earning money.”
“Being out here’s not so bad. Fresh air, beautiful view. And it could be worse. I could be playing flunky to a megalomaniacal narcissist with the aesthetic sensibility of a toddler beauty pageant coordinator.”
“Wrong ghost?” The man frowned. “What do you mean, wrong ghost?”
“You’re not the ghost I ordered.”
“Ordered? I am not a pint of ale, Miss Brown.”
